I'm relatively new to the whole AcidJazz/Trip Hop thing, so I'm looking to you guys for suggestions.

Names I'm familiar with :

Stereo MC's
Massive Attack
Primal Scream

I'm sure there are others I dig that fall into this category but I can't think of them anyway, here's where you lovelies come into play.

Tell me some stuff I'll like, that's along the same vein as the above groups. Please?

MARTINA TOPLEY-BIRD's album is along the same lines. Get the song 'Too Tough to Die' and you'll be set : )

Moloko (1995) _Do You Like My Tight Sweater?_ I have this album and it's brilliant. Roisin Murphy's vocals are *amazing*.

Sneaker Pimps (1996) _Becoming X_ This first album with original female vocalist Kelli Dayton (who later left) is great.

Smoke City (1997) _Flying Away_ contains the song 'Underwater Love' which you may remember from the Levi's jeans advert with the mermaids.

The Streets (2002) _Original Pirate Material_ This first album is better than the followup (which is a bit cheesey).

Also the following are good, don't have specific albums myself:
James Taylor Quartet
and obviously Tricky, Portishead, Roni Size
