12:59 pm - A CERTAIN RATIO eBay auctions

I'm not trying to pimp myself out here, so please don't take offence: I just put up 2 very rare cd singles by A Certain Ratio on eBay. New Order and M People related mixes and stuff like that.  I figured that some of you may be ineterested since they are rather hard to come by.

Here are the links:

Won't Stop Loving You - Bernard Sumner Mix - 1990 - A&M Records

Mello - M People Mixes - 1992 - Rob's Records

04:31 pm - Shaun Ryder: The Agony and the Ecstasy

Did anyone see the Shaun Ryder fly-on-the-wall documentary on BBC3 Sunday night? Very interesting, it was.

P.S: I'm going to see Bez DJ a Stone Roses tribute gig in March.

07:42 pm - The Impossibles

Does anyone out there have any info on a band called The Impossibles?  From what I can gather, they released 3 singles (I have the 2nd and final single on cd...1st one eludes me) in 1990-1991 on Fontana/Phonogram.

All I have found is a page in Japanese, which translated makes absolutely no sense.  At least I found out that there is that elusive single I am missing.

Any help is much appreciated.  As far as their sound, I'd say spacey trippy dancy stuff that was happening at the time in England.  Lush girl vox and indie-dance vibes.

Please help!!!!  And if anyone has the first single, "How Do You Do It?", please please please let me buy it or trade something for it (even a burned cdr would be cool).

Crossposted...thanks for listening!!!

Everyone, please discuss yourselves on the journal. Fave Madchester or indie band, where you live, etc. You are welcome to post pics as well.
